Conversations on your phone

The Conversations tab brings the same rooms and direct conversations as the Hub on the web. Everything you write on your phone shows up on the web, and the other way around.

The tab only appears when team collaboration is available to your organization.

At the top, choose what to see: All, Rooms, or Direct. In By category, rooms are grouped by your organization’s categories; archived rooms are in the Archived group.

The list shows what is still unread and highlights rooms where someone mentioned you. Inside a room, the New messages marker separates what is new from what you had already seen, and the button to jump to the latest message shows how many arrived.

To talk privately with someone in your organization, tap New chat and choose the person.

  • Reply quotes the message in the room itself; Reply in thread opens a side conversation about that message, without cutting across what others are reading in the room. You can also swipe a message to reply.
  • React adds an emoji to the message.
  • Type @ to mention someone. Everyone in the room mentions everybody at once.
  • An agent in the room only reads messages that mention it. While it works, the room shows its progress (queued, working, done), and when a run fails you can Try again.
  • A message shows whether it was Delivered or Read, and Who has read it lists who has seen it.

Touch and hold a message to see the other actions: Copy text, Copy link, Share, Forward, Select, Edit, and Delete. Deleting removes the message for everyone in the conversation and cannot be undone.

Use Attach to send a photo from the Camera, the Photo library, or a File. Up to 5 files fit in one message, each up to 4 MB. To send a GIF, tap Send a GIF (search is powered by KLIPY). The emoji picker has search and groups.

  1. Tap Record a voice note and speak.
  2. Tap Stop recording. The app transcribes the note.
  3. Choose Send audio, which sends the audio with the transcript attached, or Send as text, which sends only the text.

Transcription uses your organization’s credits. Without credits, the audio stays here and you can send it without a transcript.

Forward sends the message to another room, with an optional comment. The message’s attachments stay in the original room.

Select marks several messages at once (up to 30), to forward or delete them together.

In the room menu:

  • Who’s in this room lists people and agents, separating admins, who is available, and who is offline;
  • Notifications for this room sets how this room notifies you. See Notifications.

An archived room stays open for reading but does not accept new messages.
