Office

The Office shows a project’s work as a virtual office. Each team member is a skill: click someone and ask for anything.

To have a project open straight in the office, choose Office under Home screen in Settings.

  • Boss: your room. Your avatar starts here; walk around the office with the arrow keys or by clicking the floor.
  • Team: the project’s skills, each at its desk. The badge above each head says whether the skill is Working, Needs you, ran into an error, is Done, or is Available.
  • HR: where you hire new skills. Pick a ready-made one from the showcase or describe the role, and HR interviews, creates, tests, and seats the skill at a desk. This is also where you train and dismiss them.
  • Operations: your schedules. While a schedule runs, its skill comes to the Operations desk; the board shows what is scheduled and the history.

Each desk sums up that skill’s conversations: how many Needs you, are In progress, hit an Error, were Interrupted, or are Completed, and what the skill is doing right now (reading, editing, searching, or running something). Click to Open request, View problem, View result, or View work. The Chief Operating Officer sums up the whole office.

Conversations not assigned to any skill sit in Conversations without a skill; to start one like that, use New conversation without a skill.

In the Team column beside it, you see who is in the office and who is out, how many conversations each skill has, and you can Change desk, Hide, or Organize by usage.

Click Edit office to change the floor plan: move and resize rooms, place ready-made rooms (meeting, pantry, lounge), furniture, and decoration, and pick floors and walls. Undo and redo are at hand; finish with Done or Discard.

The editor warns you when something prevents saving, such as a blocked door or overlapping furniture. Under more options, you can Import office from another project or Reset office to default.

In the image menu, use Save image or Copy image to show the office to someone.
