Installing and signing in to the app

The SquadOS app is free on the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). It has no sign-up of its own: you sign in with the same account you use for SquadOS on the web.

  • You need a SquadOS account. If you don’t have one yet, create it on the web (Creating your account) or accept the invitation someone in your organization sent you (Accepting an invitation).
  • On iPhone, the app requires iOS 16.4 or later. It is built for iPhone; there is no dedicated iPad version.
  1. Open the app. The Sign in to SquadOS screen asks for your Email: use the same one as on the web and tap Continue.
  2. Enter your Password and tap Sign in.
  3. If you forgot your password, tap I forgot my password. If there is an account with that email, the recovery link arrives by email.
  4. To skip the password next time, keep Use biometrics next time on. After that, the sign-in screen offers Sign in with biometrics (Face ID or fingerprint).

If your password changes on the web, the biometrics saved on the device stop working and the app asks for the new password.

After you sign in, the app opens in your account’s active organization:

  • with team collaboration available, it opens on Conversations; without it, on Agents;
  • if you belong to more than one organization, switch at any time in Profile → Organization;
  • if your account has no active organization, the Choose the organization screen explains that whoever manages your team can grant access and offers Open Studio, because Studio is personal and works without an organization.

The app is available in Portuguese and English. It starts in the device language, and you can change it in Profile → Language.

Besides signing in with biometrics, you can require Face ID or a fingerprint every time you reopen the app: turn on Biometric unlock in Profile. That way, whoever picks up your phone cannot open your conversations.
